Princess Kate is one of the most popular members of the British Family, with the mum-of-three having thousands of fans across the world.
While members of the public seem to love the Princess of Wales, 43, it appears that she also has plenty of fans within her own family.
As well as being admired by husband Prince William, 42, and their three children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, it seems one very senior member of the family is among Kate’s biggest fans.
Royal broadcaster and commentator Helena Chard told Fox News: “King Charles is extremely fond and proud of his daughter-in-law.
“I believe he is one of her biggest fans. They share similar passions, and he recognises her wow factor, empathy and resilience. She is solution-focused and is certainly the glue between Prince William and King Charles III.”
As well as a shared love of gardening, Kate and her father-in-law are also fond of beekeeping, with the King, 76, and princess each having their own bee hives at royal residences.
Although they always shared a close bond, their relationship is also believed to have strengthened over the past year as a result of their health battles with cancer.
This came after the pair both spent time in January 2024 at The London Clinic hospital for different operations, with Kate having abdominal surgery and the King undergoing a procedure for an enlarged prostate.
During their time in the hospital, it was reported that the King visited Kate in her room and spent time checking in on the princess.
A senior royal source told the Times last year: “There is a very strong relationship between their majesties and the Waleses. They are very close, even more so at the moment.
A source close to Charles said: “The King has always had a close, warm and unique relationship with the princess. She has a great love and respect for him and his position.
“When they were in hospital together there was a lot of toddling down the corridor to spend time with her. He has been encouraging and supporting her throughout.”
The pair were last seen together on Christmas Day as they both took part in the annual festive walkabout after attending a church service at Sandringham.
