Piers Morgan has shared Kate, Princess of Wales’ video confirming the devastating news that she has been diagnosed with cancer.
The Duchess of Cambridge today confirmed she is undergoing chemotherapy after her abdominal surgery in January.
Her announcement has been met with sadness across the country as hundreds of people have already sent Princess Kate well wishes and tributes.
Divisive presenter Piers shared the announcement to X (formerly Twitter), and received a wave of backlash in the comments.
Many of them were angry he had been “hounding” the Royal, and some called for him to apologise.
One user commented: “You should apologise. Your behaviour has been an utter disgrace.”
Another asked: “Are you happy that you now know?
“After you seemed to think you had the right to know the well-being and medical history of a person you had no right to question?”
And a third said: “I find the invasiveness of people like Piers Morgan into the personal lives of others – INCLUDING people like the royals – completely vile).”
“I hope you will all leave her alone now you have got what you wanted intruding in some ones life at possibly the most traumatising time,” said another X user.
