Princess Kate consoled Wimbledon women’s singles runner-up Amanda Anisimova after she suffered a devasting defeat at the hands of world number 8 Iga Swiatek.
In a heartfelt five-word remark, the Princess of Wales appeared to utter the words “you should be so proud” as the teary-eyed US tennis star received her second place prize.
Swiatek won the final 6-0, 6-0 in just 57 minutes.
