The Prince and Princess of Wales have cancelled all of their upcoming royal tours after it was confirmed that Kate had been hospitalised.
Kensington Palace have released a statement confirming that the Princess of Wales was admitted to The London Clinic on Tuesday for planned abdominal surgery.
The statement also confirmed that, although the surgery was successful, the mother-of-three will remain in hospital for the next 10 to 14 days.
Princess Kate will then return home where she will “continue her recovery”.
