It is a well-known fact that British people love tea, and this includes the Royal Family. Over the years, it has been revealed which tea different members of the Royal Family like – and Princess Eugenie is no exception as she recently made a surprising revelation about her preferences.

While she may be the niece of King Charles, Princess Eugenie, 35, is not a full-time working royal. However, this does not stop the princess from carrying out charity work for causes she is deeply passionate about.

Just days ago, the Princess visited the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre in Salisbury on behalf of the charity Horatio’s Garden, of which she is patron, and made the surprising revelation.

As reported by The Telegraph, Eugenie requested an Earl Grey tea when asked about a drink at the centre.

She could be overhead saying that her go to order would be: “Weak Earl Grey, no milk, and a slice of orange and almond cake,”

However, she is not the only royal to like Earl Grey tea.

It is believed Princess Kate, 43, also opts for an Earl Grey tea, and even likes to add honey to this.

The late Queen Elizabeth II is also believed to have been a fan of Earl Grey tea, according to her formal royal butler Grant Harrold.

He once said: “I am sure the (late) Queen enjoys her Assam or her Earl Grey the traditional way, made with tea leaves in a teapot and poured into a fine bone china teacup.”

King Charles, on the other hand, doesn’t have Earl Grey as his go-to tea.

Instead, the monarch is known to enjoy Darjeeling tea with honey and milk, which he reportedly enjoys every day as part of a late breakfast.
