Princess Diana's brother revealed how nanny 'cracked heads together' as he details abuse

Charles, Earl Spencer, the younger brother of the late Princess Diana, has spoken up about the abuse the pair of them were allegedly subjected to as children, saying they had a nanny who would “crack their heads together”.

In an interview with the BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg the Earl opened up about growing up in an aristocratic family when the children were left to be dealt with by the nanny, although he did not blame his parents for the ordeal.

The uncle of Prince William and Prince Harry claimed he would receive a “cracking crunch” which “really hurt” from his nanny that was more than just a “tap on the wrist”.

In the same interview he also said a different nanny would give his older sisters laxatives as a punishment for when they behaved badly.

He explained: “It was just normal. You leave it to the nanny to deal with this. A different nanny was punishing them (his older sisters) by ladling laxatives down them, and my parents couldn’t work out why they were constantly ill.”

Earl Spencer wrote: “There seemed to be an unofficial hierarchy among her prey… she chose one boy each term to share her bed and would use him for intercourse.

“Her control over mesmerised boys was total, for we were starved of feminine warmth and desperate for attention and affection.”

He also claimed as a result of his ordeal he ended up losing his virginity to an Italian sex worker when he was 12 after being a victim of the staffer’s “perverted attention”.

The Earl added on losing his virginity: “There was no joy in the act, no sense of arrival, no coming of age.”
