Princess Charlotte’s favourite Netflix film revealed in private letter | Royal | News

Princess Charlotte is a big fan of a popular animated film on Netflix, it has been claimed. The Prince and Princess of Wales’ daughter, 10, received a letter from a young fan, who asked her whether she had seen KPop Demon Hunters, an animated musical film about a K-pop girl group who are also demon hunters.

The film has gone viral among young viewers, currently listed as Netflix’s most popular film ever, and has been streamed 236 million times. Six-year-old Ivy Brown, who called the animated musical “the best movie ever”, was over the moon when, a week after she had sent her letter, she received one back from Kensington Palace.

The letter thanked Ivy, who lives in Wokingham, Berkshire, and revealed the film’s soundtrack was played during Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace.

It read: “The Prince and Princess of Wales would have me thank you for your lovely letter to their daughter, Princess Charlotte. It was interesting to learn a little about yourself, and your generous words of support for Princess Charlotte were greatly appreciated.”

It then added: “You may be interested to know that ‘Golden’ from K-pop Demon Hunters has been playing during Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace.

“It was most thoughtful of you to take the trouble to write as you did. Their Royal Highnesses would have me send their warmest thanks and very best wishes to you and your family.”

The letter was signed by the Head of Royal Correspondence of the Royal Household, James Dawson.

Ivy told The Sun: “I think that Charlotte loves KPop Demon Hunters, so I’m happy.”

She said that she keeps her letter “safe” in the kitchen and that she showed it to her friends at school.

The six-year-old said: “I told my friends that I had a letter from Princess Charlotte and they were like, ‘Really?’ Then I showed it to them and they were like, ‘Wow!’”

Her mum Louise said: “It was lovely to get such a personal note. Ivy was ecstatic.”
