Prince William sent royal fans into a frenzy today as he stepped out in a bright blue jumper.
The future King, 42, spent the day in in Newport, Wales speaking to local organisations who have pledged their support to his Homewards project, which aims to help reduce homelessness across the UK.
On the visit, the Prince of Wales and Homewards Advocate Sabrina Cohen-Hatton, who experienced homelessness as a teenager in the city, visited The Nelson Trust, an organisation that delivers trauma-informed support for women in the area.
William also met businesses, charities and other local organisations to hear about commitments they are making to support Homewards Newport’s efforts to prevent and end women’s homelessness.
As he stepped out without Princess Kate, royal fans were quick to comment on the prince’s appearance, especially regarding his blue jumper.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: “Prince William is wearing the same shade of blue jumper as his bright blue eyes.”
Another said: “Bora Bora eyes.”
A third said: “Always looks so smart!”
Fans were also quick to comment on a video of the prince’s day in Newport shared on the @KensingtonRoyal official social media account, praising the work the prince is doing to tackle homelessness across the UK.
One person said: “Congratulations Your Highness, you are doing a good job!”
Another wrote: “This is truly amazing work where the talking has progressed to action.”
A third commented: “Keep doing what you are doing William, your mum would be so proud of you. Well done lad.”
The future King launched the Homewards project last year, with a recent documentary on ITV – Prince William: We Can End Homelessness – showing the work the prince is doing to try and tackle the nationwide issue.
