The new US President told the outlet that the King is “fighting very hard” and that Princess Kate is “doing well”, according to William.
He said: “I asked him [Prince William] about his wife and he said she’s doing well.
“And I asked him about his father and his father is fighting very hard, and he loves his father and he loves his wife, so it was sad.”
Elsewhere, he revealed: “He gushed over their meeting, telling the outlet: “I had a great talk with the prince.
“He’s a good-looking guy. He looked really, very handsome last night.
“Some people look better in person? He looked great. He looked really nice, and I told him that.”
On Saturday, Mr Trump praised the future King in front of the press, telling them ahead of their meeting, “He’s doing a fantastic job.”
