Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte shared a hilarious moment during the Trooping the Colour ceremony early this year, a a lip reader has revealed.
The two young royals, along with their brother Prince George, joined their parents, Prince William and Princess Kate, for the King’s Birthday Celebrations in June. They were seen enjoying the parade from the balcony after arriving at the event by carriage
Prince Louis was seen yawning and dancing during the Scots Guards’ march to Highland Laddie. The youngest of the three is known for his cheeky antics at royal events, and this time round, his older sister Charlotte noticed his behaviour and appeared to have told him off.
Lip reader Nicola Hickling told the Mirror that as Louis was dancing, Charlotte had appeared to say to him: “You have to stop doing that. Watch the parade” Louis then responded: “I won’t.”
Charlotte added: “Do as you’re told” to which her brother replied: “Nope.”
The young royal gave fans a fun show as he could be seen dancing along to the march whilst his siblings and mother stood still.
Photographs from the event showed the beloved royal yawning and playing a blind cord on the balcony as he stood and watched the Trooping parade.
Prince Louis was also seen waving as he arrived at Buckingham Palace with his family as well as during the RAF flypast.
The young royals hadn’t been pictured for six months prior to the special event.
They last made an appearance on Christmas Day 2023, as they joined the rest of the Royal Family for festive celebrations in Sandringham.
Princess Kate, the mother of the three, had confirmed her attendance at the event a day ahead as she had been undergoing chemotherapy following being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
In September, it was announced that Princess Kate is cancer-free and is now gradually returning to royal duties as she makes a full recovery
