Prince Harry’s ‘mood swing’ after King Charles’ cancer visit has clear explanation

James explained that while the look could be one born out of concern for his father, it’s also worth noting that he was in an elevator at the time, and depending on who was in there with him, there may not have been anything to it.

“Harry is standing in a list and when we are in a lift with other people it is quite common to do what is called ‘dog facing,’ i.e. pull a blank and rather vacant facial expression which is down to the proximity of strangers and the lack of space in the lift,” she said.

“So a lot depends on who the other people are in the lift with him,” she continued.

“If they are strangers who were allowed to ride with him his expression could be natural and not emotionally revealing but if they were Harry’s entourage or people he knew, this moment might well suggest a rather glum mood backstage from the prince.”
