Prince Harry's frustrating relationship with Queen Camilla set to be showcased in new show

A new documentary about Queen Camilla will delve deep into her tumultuous relationship with stepson Prince Harry, an insider has claimed.

The Channel 4 documentary, the title of which has not been announced yet, will focus on various aspects of Camilla as a new Queen but it will also tackle her complex “dynamic” with King Charles’s youngest son.

A TV insider told the Sun: “Although this documentary will focus on various elements of Camilla as our new Queen, her dynamic with Harry is tackled in the new show.

“That is likely to be one of the subject areas gaining the greatest attention and these Channel 4 documentaries on the royals aren’t afraid to go where other profiles often fear to tread.

“These shows have proved in the past they can spark a chain reaction that leads to further revelations and create major controversy.”

The Duke of Sussex has previously spoken about his strained relationship with his stepmother, while he also targeted her in his memoir Spare.

Harry’s claimed Camilla has leaked stories to the press to improve her own reputation whilst he also branded her “dangerous” and a “villain” when he was promoting Spare in early 2023.

During his CBS 60 Minutes interview with Anderson Cooper, Harry said: “[Camilla] was a third person in their [my parents’] marriage, she needed to rehabilitate her image.

“That made her dangerous because of the connections that she was forging within the British press.

“Because of the connections that she was forging… there was open willingness on both sides to trade information.

“And with a family built on hierarchy, and with her on the way to being Queen Consort, there was gonna be people or bodies left in the street because of that.”

In Spare, Harry wrote of his stepmother: “I have complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who I thought had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar.”

The royal also claimed he and his brother Prince William “begged” Charles not to marry Camilla, because they feared she would become their “wicked stepmother”.

It comes as the Queen is set to star in a pioneering documentary about domestic violence and sexual abuse, a cause that is especially close to her heart.
