The royal feud has been going on for years – and it doesn’t appear as if things are expected to turn completely around anytime soon.

One royal expert, however, thinks there’s still a chance for the relationship to be smoothed over, but only if Harry gets his act together.

Hugo Vickers, a royal biographer, doesn’t think that the tensions between Prince Harry and his father, King Charles will relax anytime soon, says if Prince Harry makes the first move it’s more likely.

The royal expert told The Sun: “He’s [Harry] the one who needs to pull himself together and extend the olive branch because he is the one making it difficult between them.”

He shared that the relationship between the two royals would require compromise.

With all the publicity Harry draws the expert says it deflects attention from the King and because of that a reunion between the pair is unlikely to happen quickly.

He added: “The most successful members of the royal family are the ones who support the King in what he’s doing, and they don’t compete with him.”

There are reports of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex working with Netflix to release news shows next year.

Meghan Markle is also expected to release a show connected to her new lifestyle brand Riveria Orchard, which could mean more publicity interviews.

Since 2020, when the couple stepped down as senior royals, moved to America and engaged in explosive tell-all interviews, they have recently been more quiet about the royal family, and Mr Vickers believes the pair can now focus on more “positive” things.

He said: “They’ve realised that it wasn’t getting anywhere because it was causing so much trouble.”

Mr Vickers also claimed that Harry and Meghan would be focused on making money and, therefore, adjusting their behaviour accordingly would be important for them both. With that, he shared making money would require them to “sometimes be controversial.”

While an end to the royal feud would be great, it looks like the world will have to stay waiting for that day to come finally.

While the expert might think the relationship between Prince Harry and his father was salvageable, he did mention that healing old wounds most likely isn’t at the top of King Charles’ priorities.
