Prince Harry has made one key change since marrying Meghan Markle in 2018, one body language expert has claimed.
The couple, who met in 2016 and tied the knot in Windsor just shy of two years later, are celebrating one major relationship milestone today. Wednesday, November 27, marks seven years since they announced their engagement.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, body language expert Darren Stanton claims that he can see a growth of confidence in Harry.
Discussing the couple, he said: “One of the main differences in Harry and Meghan over the years is their growing levels of self assurance. In the early stages, we would sometimes notice signs of nerves between the couple whilst out attending public events or engagements.”
Speaking of the Duke of Sussex, 40, he added: “Harry also used to tuck his hands into his pocket or play with his cufflinks, which are both pacifying gestures used in times of nervousness or uneasiness. This is something Prince Charles often used to do.
“Nowadays, Harry tends to stand a lot more upright, with his shoulders back. There has definitely been a decrease in pacifying gestures from him over the years, which proves he has massively grown and developed in confidence.”
As well as Harry’s confidence, he said: “In terms of their development over the years, the couple have been through a lot in order to get where they are today.
“Meghan was very much like Princess Diana as she was new on the scene and had to get to know the Royal family. However, despite having challenges since then, the couple have only got stronger over the years.”
Meghan and Harry – who now reside in Montecito, California – have since welcomed two children, a son named Archie and a daughter named Lilibet.
