Prince Harry desperate to bring Archie and Lilibet to the UK ‘to meet their cousins’

Following Prince Harry’s whirlwind trip to the UK to see King Charles, the Prince wants his children to spend more time in the UK to be with their cousins and grandfather, claims a source. Speaking to OK! Magazine, the source said: “Harry wants to spend more time in the UK and bring the children over to be with their grandparents and cousins, but he will have to prove himself first. That’s been made very clear to him.”

Upon Harry’s trip to the UK to see the King after his cancer diagnosis, the source claimed emotions were high when Harry and Meghan originally discussed the future of their relationship with the Royal Family.

The source added: “Meghan doesn’t want anything to do with it and is keen to stay away from England, but Harry is of the opinion that he must repair the damage that has been caused.”

Royal expert Jennie Bond, speaking to OK! Magazine, also explained one of the key factors for Harry to fix the family relationship was for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet – Prince Harry and Meghan’s children.

She explained: “Harry has spoken about wanting his children to understand their legacy and to feel equally at home in the UK as they do in America. By now, they must be proper little Californians with minimal understanding of their British heritage.”

She added that Harry will be dwelling on the fact his children have “virtually no relationship” with their paternal grandfather or maternal grandfather.

The expert went on to say “complex family relationships” cannot be repaired with the “wave of a wand”.

During Harry’s visit to the UK, there was no meeting between himself and William, 41, as he was focusing on his wife, the Princess of Wales, 42, following her abdominal surgery, as well as their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The family is currently in Amner Hall, Norfolk, to spend time there while it is the children’s half-term holiday.

Just 25 hours after he arrived in the UK, Prince Harry left for the USA to be reunited with his wife Meghan, 42, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

This weekend, King Charles recently broke his silence after his cancer diagnosis with a heartfelt letter to the British public.

The UK monarch penned the touching letter that thanked people for the “many messages of support and good wishes” he has received in recent days.

In the letter, which was shared on the Royal Family’s website and on social media site X – formerly known as Twitter – King Charles wrote: “I would like to express my most heartfelt thanks for the many messages of support and good wishes I have received in recent days.”

Buckingham Palace did not reveal what kind of cancer the King had but did clarify that it was not prostate cancer.

His aides did say that the cancer was picked up following tests as a result of his enlarged prostate that he was undergoing treatment for.
