Prince Harry may want to return to royal duties one day and Meghan Markle has reportedly put him “under pressure” to maintain his relationships.
He is fifth in line to the throne and holds an important part in the family.
In his 2023 memoir, Spare, he revealed details about his part in the royal family which provided a never before heard insight into the Prince’s life.
Rumours suggest that Prince Harry eventually aims to return to the royal family, with Meghan Markle at part-time capacity.
Speaking to The Mirror, royal expert Tom Quinn said: “Harry is under pressure to keep some sort of relationship with his family going if only for the sake of the couples’ new ventures. Harry still has vague hopes that he will be forgiven and will be offered a minor role somewhere.”
He added: “Harry will really make huge efforts to build bridges with his brother and be allowed to be the part-time royal (with Meghan) that he wants to be. But if palace officials have their way, it will never happen.”
In 2022, the couple released a documentary on Netflix in which they made several allegations about the royal family.
The future of the couple’s relationships with the royal family remain uncertain and they now live in California.
They moved to the US in March 2020 and remain there today with their two children, Archie and Lillibet.
