Prince Harry and Meghan Markle set to pocked £10m bonus with move to Florida

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are being advised by property experts in the media to make a drastic move to Florida after the couple comes up to their fourth year of living in California amid their reported financial trouble.

The Sussexes’ £11mllion mansion home in California is reportedly heading to the market anyway, with the former royal couple believed to be looking at a £3million Malibu home.

According to reports seen by The Mirror the nine-bedroom property in Montecito has increased by more than £10million in the three years Prince Harry, Meghan and their children have stayed in the lavish abode.

Property expert Alistair Brown spoke to the outlet, revealing that by analysing the current property market, the Sussexes could make a hefty profit and shell out even less for a new home if they head East across the country to Florida.

He noted that the southeasternmost state will have “small price gains in some areas” over the next year and anticipates falling mortgage rates reaching as low as six percent by the end of 2024.

This analysis comes shortly after another property expert, Jonathan Rolande, claimed that if the Sussexes were to make a property move, now would be the ideal time.

The expert noted that Meghan and Harry could “take advantage” of the reported rise in value for their Montecito mansion and claimed that the alleged £10million increase is “entirely possible”

The lavish Montecito property features nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a games room, a gym, tennis courts as well as a tea house, all of which will likely add to the staggering value of the home.

Admittedly, Jonathan noted that there is an additional “huge selling point” for the home now – the mere fact that Meghan, Harry, Archie and Lilibet lived in its wall.

The expert highlighted that if the couple do decide to sell their California home, much of the sale will “be going on behind the scenes” and that it “won’t be the usual kind of sale”.

Another potential prompt for Prince Harry and Meghan to uproot their family again is commute time as the couple’s work lives begin to pick up following their exit from the royal family.

From their current home, it takes roughly three hours for the former Suits star to get to Los Angeles, where she is reportedly trying to restart her Hollywood career.

This is why the couple is believed to be looking in Malibu for their next abode, cutting the travel time to under an hour as well as Meghan’s fond childhood memories tied to the coastal city.
