Fans of the couple noticed that Mia was pictured for the first time since her adoption from an animal testing facility in 2022.
The nine-year-old dog was one of 4,000 bred for the Envigo breeding and research facility in Virginia, but was given to the Beagle Freedom Project rescue centre after giving birth to eight puppies.
Guy, the other beagle, is the couple’s oldest dog and is also a rescue. Pula the black lab gets its unique name from the Botswanan currency and has been in the family since 2019, before Archie was born.
Harry and Meghan also own several rescue chickens that live in their sprawling £11 million Montecito mansion, but these were not featured on the Christmas card.
The message on the card reads: “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundations. We wish you a very Happy Holiday Season and a joyful new year.”
It has also been revealed that Harry and Meghan will not be joining the Royal Family for Christmas at Sandringham this year as they reportedly did not even receieve an invitation.
Instead, they are expected to spend the holiday period in California with Archie and Lilibet and their pets.
