Prince Harry and Meghan Markle get huge royal boost after tell-tale sign 'all is not lost'

The Royal Family welcoming back Sarah Ferguson means “all is not lost” for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a royal expert has revealed.

It comes weeks after the 64-year-old Duchess of York appeared for the first time at the Sandringham Christmas Day walkabout for 30 years, after being barred from royal events in 1992.

She had split with Prince Andrew that same year. Walking with her daughters Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, as well as her ex-husband Prince Andrew, Fergie’s return to the fold provides hope for fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, that the pair have a route back into the fold.

Royal expert Jennie Bond told OK! magazine that Fergie’s return provides hope for the Montecito-based royal couple. She said: “If Sarah can be welcomed back after 30 years, hope is never lost for a reconciliation between father and son.

“We know that Eugenie has maintained a close relationship with Harry, perhaps Sarah could act as a mentor to help him reconcile with his father”.

The expert went on: “It was a significant illustration of the King putting into practice what he preaches.

“If he tells us all to ‘treat others as we would wish to be treated’, then it is helpful if we see him extending friendship and forgiveness to Sarah. And it does suggest that all is not lost with Harry and Meghan.”

She added: “Maybe, just maybe, Charles picked up the phone and called Harry and his grandchildren over in California during the Christmas festivities. We can but hope!”

Meanwhile, Express.co.uk understands that the Prince and Princess of Wales would “welcome and support” the King, if he decided to boot Prince Andrew out of the Royal Lodge, where he currently lives.

As fresh allegations emerge about the Duke of York and his dealings with Jeffrey Epstein, renewed pressure is being felt to relocate him to Frogmore Cottage and allow Prince William and Princess Kate to move into the larger royal accomodation.

A royal source told the Express.co.uk: “It’s no secret that William and Kate have been trying to secure Royal Lodge for their family. They are in desperate need of a larger property to accommodate their household.

“The wheels finally seem to be in motion to remove Andrew from the property which William and Kate welcome and support wholeheartedly.”
