Prince Harry and Meghan dubbed 'an insult to the nation' over latest controversial move

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were slammed as an “insult to the nation” for promoting their brand while members of the Royal Family = have been dealing with health problems.

King Charles was diagnosed with cancer and has been undergoing treatment, while Princess Kate is currently recovering from a surgery earlier this year.

After the revelation of King Charles’ diagnosis, Prince Harry flew to the UK to visit his father, but only stayed for a “maximum of 45 minutes” before returning to his California home the very next day.

American journalist Lee Cohen said the Duke and Duchess are an “insult to the nation” and called for them to be “stripped of their titles”.

In conversation with GBN America host Nana Akua, Cohen branded the Sussexes as “monsters beyond redemption”.

Cohen said: “I don’t profess to tell what tell the King what to do or recommend what the King should do, this is his family and he’s the King.

“But how can the nation sit back and allow this?”

After visiting his father, The Duke of Sussex jetted off to Las Vegas, where he made an appearance at a glitzy NFL ceremony to present an award.

The couple also revamped their official website, opting for a new Sussex brand and showcasing Meghan’s royal crest instead of the previous Archewell branding.

Harry then stirred up controversy once again when he became the first royal to discuss his father’s health in an interview.

Speaking openly to ABC’s Good Morning America in Canada, while the couple attended the winter Invictus Games training camp for next year’s event, Harry didn’t reveal any new information about the King’s cancer.

However, he did express his love for his family and his intention to spend as much time with the Royal Family as possible following the diagnosis.

Cohen expressed his outrage at the Sussexes decision to rebrand during the health crises of the Princess of Wales and the King, claiming they have “always demanded apologies” throughout their “tenure” as a royal couple.

He told Nana: “Their rebranding coincided with the King and Catherine’s illness.

“They went forward with the Oprah interview even as Prince Philip lay ill in hospital, and now the content of this new rebranding of this website is cringe worthy self promotion of their self manufactured accomplishments.

“You expect this of Meghan, but shame on Harry.”
