Prince Harry and King Charles’ relationship has faced challenges over the years with many royal fans speculating about when the two will reconcile their relationship.

One of the biggest issues facing their relationship is Harry’s legal action against the Home Office, reports Daily Mail.

While there are other issues which the pair must overcome such as Prince Harry’s public criticisms of the firm, the legal issues regarding this security withdrawal are ongoing.

Prince Harry reportedly took legal action against the Home Office over the withdrawal of his security, which is currently still going through the UK courts.

And it has been called a major “roadblock” to any reconciliation between the two.

A source said: “It was particularly upsetting for the King to see it briefed in various quarters that Harry believed his father could click his fingers and change everything.

“That’s a wilful misunderstanding of how things work, particularly when it comes to His Majesty’s own government,” reports Daily Mail.

The King reportedly fears any conversation with Prince Harry could be used against him in this, or in other ongoing court cases.

With this in mind, the pair look unlikely to reconcile their relationship anytime soon.

The situation makes it more difficult for King Charles to develop meaningful relationships with two of his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet who live in the USA with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Harry has previously expressed his concern over the safety of his wife and their two children if they were to travel over to the UK.

Previously speaking on this, Harry said: “It was with great sadness to both of us that my wife and I felt forced to step back from this role and leave the country in 2020.

“The UK is my home. The UK is central to the heritage of my children and a place I want them to feel at home as much as where they live at the moment in the United States.

“That cannot happen if there is no possibility to keep them safe when they are on UK soil.”

King Charles announced he had been diagnosed with cancer in February, Prince Harry flew over from the USA following the news.
