In behind-the-scenes footage, the five-year-old son of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has made an appearance on Meghan’s social media in an adorable video.
The Duchess of Sussex, who recently returned to Instagram this year, shared a video that appeared to not only feature her eldest son but also his adorable American accent – highlighting a key change in his development, having been born in the UK.
A video uploaded on February 23, appears to show Prince Archie offering to help his mum water the plants in the garden of their family mansion in Montecito, California.
Archie’s reply to his mum who reportedly asks him for his help in the garden says “…only if you want me,” in his unmistakable Californian twang. Its a key change to his early years spent in the UK.
Showing off the fruits that have started to appear in her garden, Meghan captioned her video: “First blooms and blossoms of the year.”
Royal fans have also been quick to comment on the sweet accent of Archie’s on social media, with one user writing: “Archie is such a mama’s boy, always by her side and being her little helper. Also such a polite little man with his American accent.”
The video is one of many posts of late that have contributed to Meghan’s new chapter on Instagram after a nine-year hiatus from the app.
The Duchess relaunched her personal account in January and has since kept her 2.1 million fans updated with special insights from her life at home – including cooking with her two children.
Meghan also uploaded a ‘mood board’ to her Instagram page which featured a piece of artwork possibly created by Archie. The Prince’s penmanship was displayed on a forest-green painted star, his name written across the middle.
Captioning the post, Meghan penned: “From memory lane to the memories I’m making today…”
Other items that featured on the board were inspirational quotes, including an affirmation which read: “You cannot make everybody happy. You are not a jar of Nutella.” A second quote read: “Stay close to the people who feel like sunshine.”
It comes as Meghan prepares for her Netflix show launch on March 4, which will focus on cooking, gardening, and hosting with friends and family.
Since the start of the year, Meghan surprised fans with a return on Instagram, and has been posting candid reels and stories, giving a glimpse into her private life since leaving the royal family in 2020.
On Valentine’s Day, Meghan posted videos and included the family’s intimate holiday plans, featuring decorating bagels with pink frosting and making heart-shaped strawberries.
A young Lilibet was seen in the video helping her mum prepare the snacks, before Archie was also spotted walking in front of his mum as she carried a plate of food.
