If you like the idea of noise cancelling AirPods but the price is too high or you think you’d like a pair that can cope with your workout routine, the Beats Fit Pro could be the wireless earbuds for you. The Fit Pro are made by Apple, which owns Beats, and sound and act very similar to the AirPods Pro.
As part of Amazon’s Big Deal Days sale that ends today, October 8, you can get the Beats Fit Pro for exactly £100, a 55 percent reduction on their £219.99 RRP. Amazon price tracker site Camelcamelcamel shows this is the lowest price they’ve ever sold for.
The Beats Fit Pro, which have just been superseded by the Beats Powerbeats Fit are available in grey, black, pink or white. You need to Amazon Prime to access this special price – you may be eligible for a 30-day free Prime trial.
£100 is a superb price for these very capable earbuds that I’ve tested and used extensively. I can say the noise cancellation and transparency modes are not quite as accomplished as they are on the Apple AirPods Pro 2 or Pro 3, but I find the sound quality to be equally excellent.
Where the Beats Fit Pro one-up the AirPods is in their design. They have a non-removeable but flexible wingtip on each bud that hooks into the folds of your ears once you’ve inserted the silicone tip. With a little twist, this parks the buds firmly in your lugholes and there ain’t no way they’re coming out.
As they are made by Apple, the Beats have smart features similar to AirPods too. That includes auto switching between Apple devices and Spatial Audio with head tracking in compatible apps.

Unlike AirPods, the Fit Pro also auto-pair easily with Android phones, and can be managed and configured in the Beats app for Android, making these a good headphone choice no matter your smartphone brand.
Battery life is rated at six hours on a full charge, but with the case fully loaded you’ll get 24 hours overall.
Something to bear in mind is as these are a one size fits all earphone, you might want to have a think if they are right for you. I believe I have particularly small ear canals, and after an hour or so I actually find the Fit Pro painful to wear as the wingtip is jammed in at a bit of an angle.
The charging case also lacks wireless charging, which you might expect for the RRP. Then again, you don’t have to pay the RRP if you get these in the Prime sale!
At £100, the Beats Fit Pro are well worth considering. Just remember you need Amazon Prime to access the discount price.
