What our Post expert thinks about College Football Week 1
The Clemson Tigers open their season on the road at Death Valley against LSU in a huge matchup to kick off the season for both teams. LSU has a ton of pressure to start strong this season after adding head coach Lane Kiffin.
Clemson, coming off its worst season under Dabo Swinney since 2010, has plenty to prove in the ACC. ESPN’s FPI gives Clemson the second-best chance in the conference to make the College Football Playoff.
Polymarket users give LSU an overwhelmingly high chance to take down Clemson with 78 percent of users backing LSU.
