Meghan Markle seems to be planning a new drastic business change after it was revealed that she is reportedly planning to add hotels and restaurants to her brand’s portfolio. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, is said to be trademarking her lifestyle firm As Ever for “hospitality services”, as reported by The Sun.
It is believed this will include places to stay, “provision of food and drink” and temporary lodgings for guests. While this has not been confirmed by the Duchess herself, it is also anticipated that these places to stay will serve As Ever products and some of Meghan’s own food creations, including those shown on her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.
The business idea is believed to also reflect Meghan’s love of hosting – something she made very clear on her Netflix show.
While exact details are not yet known about Meghan’s alleged upcoming move to the hospitality industry, the news has already got royal fans talking online.
Although some people seem intrigued by her plans, it seems that the majority of people on social media are sceptical about the move and how it will work.
One person wrote on X: “As ever another bad idea.” Another said: “She knows nothing about either.”
