Police manhunt as young man stabbed outside London mosque with machete


Police have launched a manhunt after a man was stabbed with a machete outside a mosque in London.

Abdullahi Mohamed, 24, is wanted in connection with the incident which happened directly outside the Deptford Islamic Centre in Childers Street on Friday, February 9. Police have today released an image of Mohamed to help find him. 

The victim, in his 20s, was injured with a large machete and taken to hospital. His condition was not life-threatening.

Officers have carried out a number of enquiries to locate Mohamed, but are now releasing an image of him as they believe he is hiding.
