What our Post expert thinks about Nebraska vs. Vanderbilt
Nebraska’s strengths revolve around perimeter shooting, with Sandfort leading a team that has already made over 300 triples this season and four players attempting more than 140 3s each.
The Cornhuskers’ home-like atmosphere in Oklahoma City gives them an intangible edge, as fans packed the arena for the first-round rout of Troy and are expected to bring the same energy against Vanderbilt.
Nebraska’s rebounding remains a relative vulnerability, however, which Vanderbilt could exploit, but the Cornhuskers’ ability to shoot from deep offsets some of that risk.
