Rupert Lowe’s petition calling for mass deportations has hit 300,000 signatures days after being launched. The petition on the official Parliament website by the Independent MP calls on the Government to establish offshore detention facilities to process and deport illegal migrants.
It is due to receive a response from the Government after hitting 10,000 names and could be debated by MPs as it has passed the 100,000 threshold. The Great Yarmouth MP said: “Mass deportation is now mainstream political opinion. Every MP should now be asking themselves whose side they are on.
“Law-abiding British citizens who play by the rules, or the unvetted third world conmen who have broken into our country?
“There has never been such a disconnect between the people and their so-called representatives.
“Britain is demanding mass deportations. Parliament must finally listen. Send the illegals home.”
Mr Lowe was kicked out of Nigel Farage’s Reform UK amid claims of threats towards the party’s then-chairman Zia Yusuf and bullying staff, both of which he denied.
He has since set up the Restore Britain movement for “those who believe that we need to fundamentally change the way Britain is governed”.
The petition milestone comes as 21 MPs have signed Mr Lowe’s parliamentary motion on mass deportations.
Meanwhile, Mr Farage has said Reform would deport hundreds of thousands of people over five years if he wins power.
