Peter Phillips has made the exciting announcement that he is engaged to his girlfriend of one year, Harriet Sperling. The Princess Royal’s son began dating the NHS paediatric specialist nurse last year and the pair have been pictured together at several events, including Royal Ascot and Wimbledon.
A statement issued for the couple by Gerard Franklin, read: “Mr Peter Phillips, the son of HRH The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips and Ms Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr Rupert Sanders and Mrs Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, have today confirmed their official engagement.”
Peter was previously married to Autumn Kelly and shares two daughters, Savannah and Isla Phillips.
