Peacock ‘Gold Zone’ returns for Olympics 2026: How to get multi-view

0

That once-every-two-years Olympics dilemma is happening again: there are so many sports and so little time, especially with events overlapping.

After all, they must fit over 116 medal events into just over two weeks.

So, what do you do when you can’t decide between ice hockey, figure skating and skiing? Choose one and hope you don’t miss something noteworthy anywhere else?

Peacock made that a thing of the past during the 2024 Summer Olympics, and they’re running it back for Milano-Cortina.

If you don’t know it already, let us introduce you to “Gold Zone.”

What is ‘Gold Zone’?

“Gold Zone” is a live show on Peacock that whips around the Olympics to show you all of the moments worth checking out live as they’re happening, with a special emphasis on gold medal events. The format is inspired by “NFL RedZone,” which is live every Sunday during the NFL season to show football fans every moment they need to see.

Sometimes the show will present two events side-by-side, while other times, you’ll be able to watch as many as 10 live events at the same time, but Gold Zone typically focuses on single events as they’re winding down with the broadcast play-by-play.

Longtime RedZone host Scott Hanson begins “Gold Zone” coverage daily, with Andrew Siciliano, Matt Iseman and Jac Collinsworth swapping in throughout the broadcast. 2014 Sochi Olympic bronze medalist in team event figure skating, Ashley Wagner, will also contribute to “Gold Zone.”

When is ‘Gold Zone’ on?

“Gold Zone” will be live on Peacock every day through the end of the Winter Olympics from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.

How to watch ‘Gold Zone’ on Peacock:

In Peacock, the Olympics have a place in the top navigation bar and in that section, you’ll be able to find everything live now, including “Gold Zone.” “Gold Zone” is also available to watch from the beginning on-demand and replay later on.

Peacock has two subscription plans: Peacock Premium with ads ($10.99/month or $109.99/year) and Peacock Premium Plus without ads($16.99/month or $169.99/year).

Since the Olympics are live, there are unavoidable ads that mirror the ones on cable, so we’d recommend sticking with the lower-priced Premium plan. You’ll only need one month of a subscription to watch the entire Olympics.

What is Peacock Multiview?

In addition to Gold Zone, Peacock also has several multi-view streams depending on what events are live. The main multi-view stream broadcasts four top events at once, giving you the choice of which stream to listen to audio from. It also provides helpful notes about the events being streamed.
