It’s been over 60 years since The Beatles won their first Grammy award, and this year, they’ve picked up their eighth competitive win.

John Lennon’s son with Yoko Ono, Sean Ono Lennon, picked up the gong at the 2025 ceremony on behalf of the Fab Four.

This time around, the band won Best Rock Performance for their “final” song, Now and Then, which, thanks to advances in AI, features Lennon’s posthumous vocals.

Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Ringo Starr and the estates of John Lennon and George Harrison have since celebrated the news on social media.

Posting on his Instagram page having recently scored his first No 1 solo album in decades, Sir Ringo posed in a picture with his iconic peace sign.

The 84-year-old wrote: “Wow, another Grammy. Well, done everybody. I send you peace and love. That’s right the beat goes on. thanks, peace and love Ringo.”

Meanwhile, Sir Paul and the estates of the late members of the posted: “Congratulations to the band on The Beatles’ Now And Then GRAMMY win for Best Rock Performance! Thank you to the @recordingacademy and all the fans, now and then.”
