The Padres’ playoff game against the Cubs on Wednesday could be a hotbed for romance if one eligible bachelor gets his wish.

On Monday night, X user @Eggorian posted a selfie and a POV shot from where his Padres season tickets are with the caption, “Do you want to go to the #Padres / Cubs playoff game on Wednesday night with me? This is me. I sit here….dugout club section 4. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I no longer have a date for the game and want to fix that.

“Are you: 1) Female / 2) Single / 3) Age 30-55 / 4) A Padres fanatic / If so, you qualify!,” the post continued,

“I am: 53 6’0” 180 lbs Almost divorced (4.5 years and counting. Final November hearing) 2 grown kids Business owner 25% season ticket holder If you’re interested, send me a DM. I’m dreading the trip back to Bumble/Hinge next week and hopeful this helps avoid that! #forthefaithful”.

This post has gone viral, amassing over 900,000 views in about 16 hours. Some of the reaction is fans being upset about how specific these dating requirements are, as if this person should not be so picky when trying to fing a date on such short notice.

Others either find it hilarious or sad that a man is taking to social media to find a date for this Padres game.

Regardless, you can’t fault the guy for trying. Perhaps he’ll end up with a date after all.
