OBJ is getting another chance in the NFL.
Odell Beckham Jr., who was buried on the Giants’ depth chart and played just 20 snaps during three regular-season games before being released, is signing with the Vikings’ practice squad, the team confirmed.
Beckham Jr. was expected to be a key contributor for the Giants after Calvin Austin III went out with an injury, but that did not materialize.
With the Vikings dealing with their own wide receiver injuries — as Justin Jefferson battles a high ankle sprain — Beckham Jr. could get more playing time catching passes from Kyler Murray.
The Vikings do not play the Giants during the regular season this year, so no revenge game is on tap here.
More to come on this breaking news story.
