Oasis' predicted first song on the setlist is a little-known B-side

We previously delved into what Liam Gallagher’s first words would be on stage during his debut Oasis comeback gig. But there’s plenty of mysteries surrounding the band’s first shows back after over a decade. Namely – and perhaps the most prominent question is – which song will Oasis open their setlist with?

The band have almost countless songs in their mighty repertoire. From Champagne Supernova and Wonderwall to Don’t Look Back in Anger and Supersonic… there are a huge amount of certified hits. But William Hill reckons there’s a couple of standout tracks that are likely to start the night’s entertainment.

The leading bookmaker claims there are two songs most likely to start Oasis’ setlist this week.

The first gig, taking place at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, kicks off on Friday, July 4, 2025.

And, at the time of writing, William Hill have given Rock ‘n’ Roll Star and Acquiesce 11/8 on being the first songs played this week.

While Rock ‘n’ Roll Star is obviously one of the band’s better-known songs, Acquiesce is a sleeper hit that real fans will no doubt recognise.

The record was first released as a B-side on Oasis’ first number one single, Some Might Say.

As a result, it’s no doubt become one of the best-known songs within the fandom.

Elsewhere on the list is Hello (5/2), Supersonic (6/1), Shakermaker (7/1) and Morning Glory.

For fans attending the shows this week and this month, this is surely going to be a moment to remember.

For the fans who do not yet have tickets, there is still a chance. Oasis tickets are still available now, and we have the information below.

Meanwhile, official retailer Seat Unique has plenty of tickets available, as well – but for much larger prices.

It’s no surprise, either, as Seat Unique’s tickets come with added bonuses such as food, drink, early entry, after parties, and more.

Additional Oasis tickets might also become available from Ticketmaster. The retailer initially sold out upon release, but as we’ve observed in recent weeks, more could be released at any time.
