Oasis concert reviews call band's reunion 'best night of my life'

Last night, on Friday, July 4, 2025, Oasis finally reunited. Within Cardiff’s hallowed halls in Principality Stadium, Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher finally got together to bring the legendary ’90s band back to life for the first time since 2009. And the reviews are in.

Countless fans attended while dozens of reviewers put pen to paper overnight, telling of the return of the kings, what they played, what they said, and how magical it was from front to back. And Mark Savage of the BBC was first in line to describe the band’s majesty, and their changes throughout the years.

Savage confessed: “I’ve seen a lot of Oasis gigs and that was genuinely the best they’ve been since 1995, when I saw them support REM in Ireland and they instantly made the headliners seem irrelevant and past it.

“Liam was like a dog unleashed, tearing through the setlist like he was singing it for the first time. Noel’s guitar playing was crisp and clear. They pulled it off.”

Likewise, Mark Beaumont wrote for The Independent: “To a reviewer who saw Oasis both at Knebworth and on many a post-Nineties slogathon, this is the best they’ve been since ‘96. Some might say better.”

NME also gave an impassioned review of the band’s return to form.

“This is all you ever would have wanted from Oasis in 2025,” Andrew Trenball wrote. “They look cool, sound f*****g amazing, and they want to be here.”

He went on to add: “The truth is Liam’s voice hasn’t sounded this good in 20-odd years.”

While some fans were disappointed Noel and Liam didn’t engage in any solid on-stage banter, plenty of fans came away completely enamoured by the band’s revival.

Speaking out on social media, one wrote: “I died and ascended to a new plane.”

Another agreed: “The birth of my daughter four months ago was the best day of my life. Tonight became the second best night of my life. To witness Oasis with my dad and my brothers means the world to me what a night #Oasis #oasiscardiff.”

A third concurred: “Timeless. Absolutely f*****g incredible. You HAVE to go see them. Oasis are BACK.”

Thankfully, for those who missed out on the first show, Oasis tickets are still available through a number of online retailers. And we’ve got all the information below.

Oasis tickets are still available from a number of online retailers right now. This includes both official websites and resale websites.

Some tickets are popping up at the very last minute on Ticketmaster’s resale network. This official channel claims to only sell tickets at their face value (plus a few admin fees). So fans keen to grab a bargain ought to start there.

TICKETMASTER – Oasis tickets.

Alternatively, if VIP and hospitality are more your style, Seat Unique is the best option. These official tickets come complete with such perks as complimentary food and drink, early access, after parties, and more. Here’s the link:
