If the wind, rain and snow are somewhat getting you down, it’s possible that the phone in your pocket could help you relieve some of the January blues. If you are an O2 customer, you have automatic free access to O2 Priority, the reward programme that’s also available to Virgin Media customers.
To celebrate the start of 2026 and to counteract the bland grey British weather, O2 has announced new perks and prizes, all part of what it calls Blue Mondays on Priority.
The headline prize you can enter to win is your O2 mobile or Virgin Media broadband bills paid off for a whole year. Winning that would open up a bit of cash for you to use wisely over the next twelve months, as Virgin Media O2 will take a look at winners’ bills and apply credit to cover the costs, ensuring you’re not charged until 2027.
The only catch is that you can only enter the prize draws or claim offers on Mondays, though Virgin Media O2 says it’ll add new offers each Monday and each month.
“All Priority members need to do to take part and win is open the Priority app every Monday, tap to play, and discover their reward,” O2 says
So, set a reminder for this coming Monday to be in with a chance to win what’s on offer.
Priority members can also try their luck entering a coveted Stranger Things trip to Dallas, Texas, courtesy of Netflix. Winners will be able to visit an immersive Stranger Things experience in the city that recreates sets and storylines from the hit show. Those winners will get a £4,000 lastminute.com voucher to cover travel and accommodation.
Away from prize draws, you can claim discounts on many popular products, such as three months free of Super Duolingo, the ad-free subscription to language learning app Duolingo. This usually costs £9.99 per month, so the offer gives you the chance to start the new year learning a new language, and gives you three months for free to see if it’s a hobby you want to keep paying for when month four rolls around.
You can also claim 25 percent off hair, beauty and wellness treatments with the Treatwell app, which O2 says you can apply to massages, facials, haircuts and more. You can pair this with 30 percent of all nail treatment via the Townhouse website.
There’s even a chance to claim thousands of free Deliciously Ella Cacao & Almond Energy Bars, each usually priced at £1.35. Check the app now to see if there’s a shop near you where you can pick up the plant-based snack.
The O2 Priority app is most famous for giving O2 customers pre-order access to gig tickets at O2 affiliated venues across the country, a perk it still offers today.
