New York City FC is looking to make a splash following the World Cup.

The MLS side is interested in bringing American soccer star Christian Pulisic to the Big Apple, The Post confirmed Wednesday.

The move would bring one of the sport’s most high-profile American stars to NYCFC since the club had the trio of Frank Lampard, David Villa and Andrea Pirlo.

Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that the club was prepared to offer Pulisic a $10 million contract in order to bring him to New York. The Post was not able to independently confirm that figure.

But as of right now, AC Milan, Pulisic’s current club team, is not interested in shopping the 27-year-old striker, though should that stance change, there would be other MLS suitors in the mix, according to The Athletic.

Pulisic is in the middle of starring for the United States at the World Cup, where he made his presence felt during the USMNT’s opener against Paraguay. He did leave the match after the first half with a left calf injury, which kept him out of the Americans’ 2-0 win over Australia.

He told reporters on Wednesday that he’s ready to return for the final group stage match against Turkey on Thursday.

NYCFC, along with the rest of MLS, is on hiatus while the World Cup is taking place, but finds itself in an interesting spot.

The club is on the playoff bubble and is preparing to move into a brand new stadium in Queens, next door to Citi Field, in 2027.

Pulisic would be a big boost for the club’s profile ahead of the move.

The Hershey, Pa., native had been on a roll to start the season for Milan before he slowed his pace and didn’t score another goal after December.

Pulisic finished the Serie A season with eight goals and six assists.
