Here comes the sun!
Now that the snowy mess has melted away, New Yorkers will finally be able to absorb some Vitamin D in the next four days.
On Wednesday, the temperature is expected to reach a high of 69 degrees in the tri-state area — the warmest it’s been since the middle of October.
“It’s the beginning of the warmer weather,” AccuWeather senior meteorlogist Adam Douty told The Post Saturday morning.
“Sunday will finally break out of it. It starts out dreary and ugly, maybe there’s something early in the morning as far as a shower. But a bit of sunshine returns in the afternoon and temperatures do warm quite significantly … but there will be a pretty dramatic change later next week.”
Sunday will reach a high of 65 degrees, while Monday’s temperatures will tick up to 66 — which will feel like 70. Tuesday will warm to 68 degrees.
“Monday and Tuesday, there will be some clouds around. But generally speaking they should both be some very nice days,” he said. “The wind will be fairly light and there will some fairly likely sunny periods.”
Wednesday will reach 69 degrees — not far from the record high of 73 set in 1977.
“It may be getting a little bit breezy. So that’ll certainly still feel warm but maybe not quite as nice as Monday and Tuesday,” he continued.
Thursday cools down to 58 degrees, with a chance of rain, and Friday dips into the 40s.
“We’ll have a cold front come through,” Douty said.
