Several EMS workers were attacked while responding to an emergency call in the Bronx Thursday night, according to police.

The EMTs were responding to a report of an emotionally disturbed person at an apartment building on Sedgwick Avenue in Morris Heights when they were assaulted around 10 p.m., police and sources said.

A 32-year-old EMT suffered cuts to the head a 20-year-old EMT was treated for injuries to the face, according to police.

The two were taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
