What our Post expert thinks about Knicks vs. Wizards
The first preseason game did not feature a ton of action from Knicks starters, but did give rotation players and bench guys a chance to showcase their skills.
Months off from basketball — plus a healthy bit of partying after winning a championship — clearly had an impact on the Knicks’ shooting and execution. The team shot 38 percent from the floor, 20 percent on 3s and 59 percent from the free-throw line.
The Knicks have a good opportunity to fix the many issues head coach Mike Brown had with his team’s performance.
