Officials at a US airport said a plane crashed near the air hub on Friday morning. Pitt-Greenville Airport, in North Carolina, is used for general aviation as well as commuter service by American Airlines.
The crash reportedly prompted the closure of a road near the air hub. The entrance to PGV & Memorial Drive in Greenville are also closed, according to local reports.
