Billionaire hedge fund mogul John Overdeck’s lover called the police to his tony New Jersey mansion several times as the financier was facing what has now become the most expensive divorce in the state’s history, according to resurfaced reports.

Cops were summoned at least eight times to the 6,000-square-foot estate in Short Hills that the Two Sigma founder once shared with his estranged wife, Laura Overdeck, Bloomberg reported, citing police reports and bodycam footage.

The math genius and his wife — who married without a prenup during the infancy of Overdeck’s $80 billion firm — are now duking it out in a Newark courtroom after Laura Overdeck filed for divorce in March 2022.

Laura is seeking 35% of Overdeck’s stake in his hedge fund, worth about $6.2 billion — after turning down his offer of more than $600 million.

Many of the 911 calls to the home — which took place between April 2023 and June 2024 — involve an unnamed paramour whom John Overdeck told cops he was seeing, the report states.

Charges were never filed in any of the incidents, Bloomberg said.

In October 2023, the mystery lady dialed 911 during a quarrel inside the marital mansion — purchased two decades earlier by the then-happy couple for $3.64 million, records show.

Citing body-worn camera footage, Bloomberg states that John Overdeck described his situation with the complaining woman as “volatile.”

He detailed several incidents in which the woman had accessed a file related to Two Sigma on his computer — and another where she sent the firm an email, the footage reportedly shows.

In another 2023 call, the girlfriend phoned cops for a wellness check on John Overdeck, who had been sitting inside his car for four hours, according to the outlet.

The billionaire allegedly told the cops that he was sad over a canceled trip with some pals, and told them his relationship with the woman who summoned them was “complicated,” Bloomberg said.

While Laura Overdeck filed for divorce back in 2022, only citing “irreconcilable differences” for a period of at least six months, it’s unclear when John Overdeck began pursuing the mystery lover.

Laura Overdeck is demanding a 35% cut of his estimated $6.2 billion share in Two Sigma, which would upset the billionaire’s ownership of the quant firm after years of leadership unrest.

She’s also seeking an equal share of their massive home, their hundreds of millions in treasury funds and their foundation — as well as restoration as an equal partner in the trusts established for their three kids.

It has turned the high-profile case into one of the largest contested divorces in New Jersey history.

Inside New Jersey Superior Court Wednesday, the fiery proceedings moved at such a snail’s pace that a peeved-off judge admonished the attorneys on both sides for wasting the court’s time arguing over redactions of evidence instead of hashing out their qualms beforehand.

“Are we using the trial time very effectively, in the court’s view?” said Judge Bruce Buechler. “Absolutely not.”

Earlier in the day, John Overdeck tried to argue that the public disclosures could hurt Two Sigma, claiming that they’ve already lost investors.

“I think that will actually harm the company as well. I think it has to some degree it already has,” he said.

“Isn’t it true that since the complaint for divorce has been filed, and since all of the press, the amount of assets under management at Two Sigma has actually increased?” Theresa Lyons, attorney for Laura Overdeck, asked the financier.

“Yes, that’s correct,” he replied.

Because of a ruling by the same judge in April that found Laura Overdeck had violated discovery orders, her pleadings were dismissed — which means she can only make her case by grilling the husband on cross-examination.

Her underhanded tactics included snooping on her estranged hubby’s computer and snapping cell phone pics of his emails discussing legal strategy, according to court findings.
