Air fryers offer a quicker and simpler way to cook, and for many households, they have become a must-have in the kitchen.

With a plethora of brands on the market, it can be a bit of a task to pick the best one. Although Ninja is a pricier choice, it is renowned for its top-notch air fryers, with countless positive reviews on its website. Though they are expensive, independent studies by Ninja claim that they can save on energy when compared with traditional oven cooking.

The Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer is one of the brand’s best-sellers, and according to Ninja, it can cook fish fingers and sausages up to 75% faster than a traditional oven (including pre-heating time). Their studies also claim that using an air fryer can “save up to 65% on energy bills” when cooking sausages, compared with using a convection oven.

Though the Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer is still full price on the Ninja website—retailing for £229.99—the price has dropped on Amazon.

Currently, Amazon is offering the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer at a discounted price of £170.10, marking a substantial 26% off. According to the price comparison website camelcamelcamel, this is also the cheapest the air fryer has been on Amazon this year.

The air fryer has two independent cooking zones, enabling different foods to be cooked in separate ways, yet ready simultaneously, reports the Daily Record.

Featuring six cooking functions—max crisp, air fry, roast, bake, reheat, and dehydrate—this device allows a variety of meals to be prepared, whether it’s crisping up frozen food or reheating last night’s leftovers. Ninja also claims that the air fryer uses up to 75% less fat when employing the air fry function.

Whether you’re mastering the art of batch cooking or throwing a dinner soiree, this air fryer caters to all needs with its whopping capacity. It can serve eight portions at once, and each drawer can hold up to 1.4kg of chips or 2kg of chicken.

The package includes two non-stick, dishwasher-friendly 4.75-litre drawers and crisper plates for hassle-free cleaning.

The Ninja Foodi MAX has been applauded with a stellar 4.8 out of five-star rating based on a whopping tally of 38,960 reviews on Amazon. A pleased shopper endorsed it saying: “The best thing about this product is that it pays for itself through energy savings.”

Meanwhile, another customer shared their enthusiasm: “This air fryer is very good! I’d heard great things about Ninja products and this one totally lives up to the hype. It’s nice to be able to cook two things at once with different settings. It’s so convenient, cooks food way faster than my oven.

“The product arrived promptly and in great condition. I use this every day. It is so easy to navigate and easy to clean. Food comes out tasty, especially the veggies,” heralded one chuffed user.

Yet not everyone was over the moon about the air fryer. A particularly critical customer remarked: “It’s not much bigger than the 300 but has better capacity, so it’s useful for larger families. However, the controls are hard to see and use.”

Of course, it’s not the only air fryer around these days, and there are some even more affordable options on the market with decent reviews.

On Debenhams, the Geepas 9.2L Air Fryer with five-in-one functions is a steal at £52.58.

The air fryer is equipped with an interactive touchscreen, nine pre-programmed settings, and a 9.2L non-stick basket.

For a more budget-conscious Ninja model, savvy shoppers might explore the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer, priced at £149 directly from Ninja. The model has six culinary functions, dual cooking zones, a generous 7.6L size, and the potential to slash oven energy bills by up to 75% (based on Ninja’s own independent studies).
