Nine best Wimbledon 2025 kits pictured as Sonay Kartal steals the show | Tennis | Sport

Wimbledon’s famous all-white rule always makes for some fashionable moments at the All England Club. While the players are limited in the colour they can wear, they’re still playing with textures, patterns and cut-outs, and they can add some flair with their walk-on outfits.

From Lorenzo Musetti’s designer debut to British star Sonay Kartal’s retro Adidas polo, Express Sport takes a look at the nine best player kits of Wimbledon 2025.

Matteo Berrettini

Former finalist Berrettini – who bowed out in a tight five-setter in the first round – brought some clean elegance to SW19 in a fitting white polo with a black contrast trim. True to his style, he made it his own with a backwards cap.

Jessica Pegula

One of the top seeds who went out in round one, the world No. 3 made a statement as she took to the court in an incredible walk-on look, complete with an Adidas jacket and a long skirt that trailed behind her on the floor. The outfit may be gone, but it’s not forgotten.

Mattia Bellucci

The swashbuckling Italian star’s run ended in the third round as he lost to Cameron Norrie on Court 1. But Bellucci picked up a new sponsor ahead of the tournament, C.P. Company, and took to the court in a “total white technical kit throughout the tournament, consisting of a polo shirt, shorts, and an overshirt with the iconic Goggle lenses” – plus a matching bag.

Marta Kostyuk

The Wilson-endorsed Ukrainian star is easily one of the best-dressed on the tour when it comes to match kits. Last year, she wore a version of her wedding dress on the court. This time, she competed in a unique white dress with plenty of cut-outs, and crossover straps on the back.

Carlos Alcaraz

The two-time defending champion is channelling 2000s Roger Federer, rocking a white Nike cardigan on top of his kit when he walks on the court and completes his post-match interviews.

Elina Svitolina

Adidas have been on their game this fortnight, adding tiny touches of green to their players’ white kits. And two-time semi-finalist Elina Svitolina did something different, competing in a cool zip-up playsuit.

Coco Gauff

World No. 2 and reigning French Open champion Gauff may have suffered a shock first-round defeat, but that didn’t stop her from making a fashion statement. New Balance whipped up a custom look featuring a corset-style top and a kilt-inspired skirt, which they said was a “nod to British punk rock.”

Lorenzo Musetti

Another Italian. They are the fashionable ones, after all. The seventh seed marked his new partnership with Bottega Veneta by stepping out in a white version of the brand’s iconic woven leather jacket.

Sonay Kartal

British No. 3 Kartal has announced herself this fortnight, storming into the second week of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time. She’s been on a roll ever since she took out 20th seed Jelena Ostapenko in round one, and everyone is in love with her Adidas polo shirt.

“I’m not going to lie, I did see the design a few months ago. Yeah, couldn’t wait to get it on,” she said of her on-court look. “I think this kit this year is incredible. I love that they’ve gone back to the old logo. Gone a bit retro.”
