Nigel Farage has been crowned the UK’s sexiest politician, topping the annual IllicitEncounters.com poll for 2025. The Reform UK leader secured 21% of the vote, narrowly edging out Conservative Robert Jenrick, who followed closely behind with 20%.
The poll, which surveyed over 2,000 members of the dating site for married people looking for extramarital affairs, named the Reform UK leader as the nation’s “most irresistible” male politician for the second consecutive year, securing 21% of the vote. Foreign Secretary James Cleverly also enjoyed a dramatic rise in popularity, jumping from seventh place last year to third with 14%.
Meanwhile, Labour’s Deputy Leader Angela Rayner took the top spot among female politicians, claiming 22% of the vote, a significant leap from her fifth-place finish in 2024.
Her win sees her dethrone last year’s winner, Suella Braverman, who still held strong in third place with 15%.
Rayner wasn’t the only surprise in this year’s rankings. Reform UK’s Sarah Pochin made an impressive debut at second place with 19%, while Labour’s Jade Botterill (14%) and Conservative Julia Lopez (12%) rounded out the top five in the women’s category.
The men’s list also welcomed some new faces. Labour’s Dan Aldridge came in fourth with 12%, and Reform’s James McMurdock took fifth place at 10%.
However, Prime Minister Keir Starmer suffered a dramatic fall in the rankings, sliding from third last year to ninth in 2025 with just 2% of the vote.
When it comes to party appeal, the Conservatives remain the “sexiest” political party overall with 33% of the vote, followed by Labour at 31.5%, and Reform UK making gains at 27.5%.
Commenting on the results, Jessica Leoni, sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com, said: “Farage has proved once again he’s the political equivalent of that leather jacket in your wardrobe, slightly controversial, impossible to get rid of, and somehow still looking good after all these years.”
She added: “In politics, power is an aphrodisiac, and our members are never shy about telling us who gets their hearts racing. This year’s results show that confidence, conviction, and a little controversy remain irresistible traits.”
Whether or not these results reflect the wider public sentiment, or just the fantasies of a particularly cheeky sample group, is up for debate. But for now, it seems Farage and Rayner reign supreme in the world of political allure.
