Nigel Farage hints Donald Trump could investigate Prince Harry's US visa if he wins

Nigel Farage suggested Donald Trump could have Prince Harry’s US visa investigated if he wins the race to the White House.

A lawsuit brought by the Heritage Foundation think tank is demanding the Duke of Sussex’s US visa application be made public to see if he lied about his drug use when he moved to America in 2020.

Mr Farage said Mr Trump is “not a fan” of Harry, who quit royal duties for a new life across the pond with Meghan Markle.

Speaking on his GB News show last night, he said: “I went to Mar-a Lago to meet Donald Trump. He is on rare form. He gave ten major speeches last week and a Trump speech is at least an hour and a half, often two hours.

“He has resilience, unlike anything I’ve seen in any other human being. He’s optimistic, he’s bullish, the polls are definitely going in his direction.

“He showed a huge amount of interest in UK politics and we talked at length about Rishi Sunak, Boris Johnson obviously we talked about Sir Keir Starmer, and you’ll learn more about that over the course of the next few weeks.

“I tell you what is for certain, he’s not a fan of Prince Harry. I wonder what will happen if he’s President?

“I wonder whether there’ll be someone having a real look into how Harry got a US visa, given that he’s admitted repeatedly taking illegal drugs?”

It comes as the Biden administration is resisting demands for Harry’s US visa application to be made public.

The 39-year-old opened up about taking cannabis, magic mushrooms and cocaine in his explosive memoir Spare, which was released last year.

Questions have been raised over whether Harry lied on his US visa application or if he was given preferential treatment due to his status.

As a federal court in Washington began hearing the case last week, a lawyer for the US government argued Harry’s admission in his book is not “proof” and could have been embellished to “sell books”.

Mr Trump last week told the Daily Express US that the Royal Family has been “too gracious” to Harry and that he would not “protect him” like Joe Biden has done.
