Getting better.

We nailed Zay Flowers to go Over 120 receiving yards last week at +800 odds, which was one of the lower numbers on the betting market, as of Sunday.

There were a few +1200s hanging out there when Lamar Jackson was surprisingly ruled inactive.

Regardless of what price you got, we grade it at +800, since that was the best price I could get with limited options at the time of writing.

We would be in the net positive for the year if Kyren Williams ran for one more yard; he ended Sunday’s game at 99 yards, and our +400 bet for 100+ yards missed by the slimmest margin.

Brutal.

We move on to Week 8 of the NFL season for some more player prop betting.

RECORD: 9-10 (-1.3 units) | Long shots: 2-15 (-2.85 units)

The Tennessee Titans’ secondary is a disaster and the Bengals are going to have the option to do whatever they want this weekend against Robert Saleh’s group.

I believe this is the week that they go to Chase after letting Tee Higgins cook for the last few weeks.

Higgins is an excellent player, but Chase needs some love too and should face single coverage for most of this game, as the Titans double team receivers at one of the lowest rates in the league.

The Titans are terrible against the pass to begin with, coming in at No. 30 in DVOA, and given Chase hasn’t broken 100 yards yet this season, it’s more than past time for him to get going on offense.

All aboard the Chase train and expect him to get into the end zone this weekend as well.

Speaking of bad passing defenses, my goodness, are the Cardinals and Cowboys a who’s who of bad players with worse schemes.

We have the rarest of rare featuring the No. 31 in pass defense DVOA (Cardinals) against the No. 32 pass defense DVOA (Cowboys) in a matchup that might be a wild shootout.

Michael Wilson has not been good recently, to be clear, as he hasn’t cleared 55 in either of his last three games.

However, the target share is there.

Betting on the NFL?

He’s received 17, 13, 7, 7, 8 targets in his last five games, respectively, and we already know that they cleared the deck for him by trading Marvin Harrison Jr.

I don’t care for Joey Porter Jr. too much, as I don’t believe he will shadow him all that much.

Add in that Wilson lines up in the slot more with Harrison shipped out and I can’t wait to bet Wilson up and down this weekend.

Prepare for massive point totals in this game and your same game parlays of overs could be fruitful.
