The refs were the stars of this late-afternoon matchup as Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson took an earful from referee Adrian Hill.

In Minnesota’s 15-10 win over Miami on Sunday, Hill berated Wilson for unintentionally bumping into him.

The knockdown happened when Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon II shoved the linebacker on a third-down play that was blown dead because of an offsides penalty.

Hill didn’t flag Wilson but definitely gave him a piece of his mind, telling him to go back to the huddle.

The NFL on Fox X account even caught sight of it and posted a video with the caption “an unintentional collision.” The video was up for around 20 minutes before being taken down.

Referees were a mainstay Sunday as both teams combined for 15 penalties in the first half, one flag shy of the season-high 16 set between Cincinnati and Jacksonville earlier in the afternoon.

The Vikings didn’t leave the game in the refs’ hands as the league-leading defense showed up once again.

The Brian Flores-led unit held the Dolphins to 10 points and less than 200 yards of offense. It also limited Malik Willis to 77 yards through the air.

Minnesota won without getting into the end zone. This is the second time this season that the Vikings have pulled off such a feat. The Vikings stay atop the NFC North at 4-0.
