The Express is launching a brand new YouTube show that will bring you all the biggest, boldest and most bizarre news stories of the day.

Hosted by JJ Anisiobi, the Daily Expresso will have the hottest Westminster drama, showbiz gossip and royal intrigue.

JJ, who previously hosted his own show on TalkTV and is a regular commentator on Channel 5 and GB News, will be joined by the smartest and funniest political commentators around to give viewers the sharpest insights into the stories of the day.

Express columnists Carole Malone and Esther McVey are among the regular co-hosts cutting through the nonsense to get to the heart of the issues dominating the new agenda, along with former Brexit Party MEP Belinda de Lucy.

JJ has worked in current affairs and showbiz across the biggest titles in the media, including the Daily Mail, Esquire ME and the London Evening Standard.

And after being a huge hit with readers, he has now been given a regular column in the Daily Express, which will launch on September 8.

JJ said: “I’m thrilled to be part of this hugely talented team and to bring our loyal audience that Express point-of-view in a different format for them.

“Our guests are well known for their straight-talking, so you can expect all of that and more on the Daily Expresso.”

Every week there will also be a guest politician to give their insight into the latest twists and turns in Westminster and leading figures from the world of showbiz.

The Daily Expresso will be filmed in Reach’s new state-of-the-art studios in its London newsroom and broadcast every day at 5pm on YouTube.

Associate Editor Sam Lister said: “Our readers are loyal and engaged and we want to give them the best stories of the day in whichever format they want, so it is hugely exciting to move in this new direction.

“Incisive and opinionated, JJ understands Express readers and will bring in a new audience with his dynamic and high-spirited analysis of the day’s events. He and his guests will get to the heart of the issues of the day in a fun and vibrant way that will leave viewers informed and entertained.

“And we want to put viewers at the heart of the show, so the more we hear from them, the better!”

Watch The Daily Expresso every weekday at 5pm on the Express YouTube channel.
