Flashy real estate agent Tal Alexander raped a Nevada nurse as she wept in the shower inside a $13 million Hamptons mansion, she alleged in emotional testimony this week.
The witness, using the alias “Maya Miller,” teared up as she took the stand in Manhattan federal court, where Tal, 39, and his brothers Oren and Alon, both 38, stand accused of using their vast wealth to lure women into a sick sex trafficking scheme for more than a decade.
“He was sexually aroused when he was looking at me when I was crying,” Miller told jurors.
“What he did to me, it was was pure control,” she said, dabbing the tears from her eyes with a tissue.
Miller described Tal allegedly attacking her at the end of an August 2014 weekend when the high-rolling broker flew her out to a waterfront Sag Harbor manse where he was staying with friends.
Miller, then 23, had messaged the agent-to-the-stars — who once brokered the sale of a $15 million Miami Beach condo to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West — on Instagram and offered her number, she testified.
“He looked like a sociable guy,” she told the jury on Wednesday.
The weekend started out in glamorous fashion, with Miller and her friend Alicia being flown to the Hamptons from Manhattan in a seaplane and then ferried by a private driver to the party house, which boasts a basketball court and pool.
“The house I grew up in was nothing like this. I had to pinch myself,” Miller said, wearing a black suit jacket over a white button down shirt on the witness stand, sitting mere feet away from her alleged rapist.
But the party took a dark turn after Miller rebuffed Tal’s advances that Saturday night when the real estate bigwig, wearing only swim trunks, hopped into bed with her and her friend, she said.
“You’re not going to come out and party? I thought I invited fun girls,” Tal told them, she recalled.
He then asked Miller whether she had drunk alcohol, and she lied that she had been drinking despite having secretly tossed several beverages she’d been offered down the sink, she testified.
Miller said she stayed up all night and stacked her and her friend’s suitcases by the door in a bid to barricade herself inside the room from Tal and another “taller” friend who had been lurking in the hallway.
“I just had a really bad feeling and I was nervous they would come back again,” she told the jury.
Hours later, as she was preparing to leave the house, Tal allegedly burst into the room and “tackled” her, saying, “This is how you thank me for inviting you to a beautiful home?” Miller testified.
Miller then ran into the bathroom and into the shower, just a few feet away from Alicia, who was blow drying her hair, she testified. The shower had a door walling itself off from the rest of the room.
She said Tal then allegedly entered the shower, turned on the water and — after getting aroused by Miller’s tears — “proceeded to rape me in the shower,” drawing blood.
“I remember trying to scream but it felt like there was a frog in my throat,” she told the jury. “No matter how loud I tried to yell, it was only a whisper.”
After, Tal “looked at me and he said, ‘You wanted that. It’s okay, I care about you, you wanted that,’” Miller testified.
Defense lawyers grilled Miller on Thursday about why she never told her friend about the alleged rape. The friend later sent a gift to Tal thanking him for the weekend, she testified.
Miller also texted a smiling emoji to Tal a day after the alleged assault when he asked her how she was enjoying New York City, writing that it was “f–king amazing,” trial testimony revealed.
She testified that she was “scared” of the wealthy property honcho and was “doing my best to be in compliance.”
Miller, when questioned by Tal’s lawyer Milton Williams on cross-examination, also said she did not believe that Tal expected her to be “intimate” with him as a condition of inviting her to the sprawling home.
But Tal felt differently, according to a crass email he sent to his brother Alon days before the alleged assault.
“See below these cheap hookers coming to the Hamptons that weekend,” Tal wrote, forwarding Miller’s flight confirmation details, according to the email seen by jurors.
Miller, now 34, said she only reported her horrific experience to the FBI after the Alexander brothers were arrested in December 2024.
Watching a press conference about the bust on the news, “I took a minute to think about it and I thought that I needed to say something,” she testified.
“I’m 34 years old now and i know who I am,” she told jurors. “And I want someone to be held accountable for what they have done to me.”
Oren and Tal Alexander co-founded the luxury real estate firm Official, which offers ritzy listings in glittering locales like the Hamptons and Miami, in 2022 after rising the ranks at brokerage giant Douglas Elliman.
The trial is expected to last another three weeks.
Each brother faces 15 years to life in prison if convicted of sex crimes raps, including sex trafficking by fraud, force or coercion.
